Open questions

  • How many people have died since the 6,301 deaths authorities reported on 10 August 2026?
  • Do the 1.3 million people the response plans for include the more than 304,000 who have accessed assistance?
  • How many people were injured in total, beyond the 73,356 treated in hospitals?
  • Will women and girls remain 57 percent of the people reached as reporting matures?
